I think baking cookies is equal to Queen Victoria running an empire. There’s no difference in how seriously you take the job, how seriously you approach your whole life.
-Her Royal Highness: Baking Queen Martha Stewart
Baking is a great way to share joy. It’s a gift you can give to family, neighbors, friends, old people, kids, dogs and, of course, cancer patients. You think I’m joking? (You think I’m funny… what, do I amuse you? What do you mean I’m funny, like, funny haha?) I’m not. No matter where technology takes us in the future, we may all be wearing google glasses and our kids won’t know what a book looks like outside the confines of an iPad screen, we will never digitalize cookies. Baking is classic family fun. Baking is memories and good smells. It’s a messy kitchen, cutting out sugar cookies, grandma’s apple pie, the reason guests attends wedding receptions, after-school-specials and sharing the love. Baking is forever.
